Data2Distance is built to be privacy-first. There are no long-term accounts to manage, and we collect only the information we need to analyze your golf data and deliver your report. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we are

This site is operated by Data2Distance ("we," "us," or "our"), a digital golf-performance analysis service based in New Jersey. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect only what a given interaction requires:

• Contact details: your name and email address, which you provide when you use the free scan, join our email list, or purchase a report.
• Golf performance data: the launch-monitor numbers, equipment specifications, and any files or screenshots you choose to submit for analysis.
• Payment information: when you buy a paid report, payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic usage data: standard technical information (such as browser type and pages viewed) that most websites log to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

• To analyze your submitted data and generate and deliver your optimization report.
• To send you the emails you signed up for, including scan results and newsletter tips. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To process payments and provide customer support.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

Service providers

We share information only with the providers that help us run the service, and only as needed to do their job. These include our payment processor (Stripe), our email platform (Brevo), our website host, and the automated analysis, artificial-intelligence, and cloud-processing services used to read and interpret your golf data. These providers are bound to handle your information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers to sell you unrelated products.

How long we keep your data

We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected:

• Name and email: kept while you remain on our list, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Your generated report (PDF): kept for about 90 days so you can re-download it, then removed from active storage.
• Raw launch-monitor files and screenshots: kept for about 30 days after your report is produced, then deleted.
• Internal processing logs: kept for about 7 days for troubleshooting, then deleted.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message.
• Access or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to function properly and to understand general usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Children

Data2Distance is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
